LI Meditation Workshop Series Learn about the benefits of meditation and how you can make it a part of your daily practice. Here is a brief overview of the series:
Week 1: What is mindfulness? Benefits and common misconceptions of meditation
Week 2: Intuition: The body knows before the mind
Week 3: Setting your intentions: What would make your heart sing?
Week 4: Letting Go: Making space for what you really want
Where:Fuel the Soul, 188 Merrick Road, Merrick, NY 11566 Dates: Mondays--February 26, March 5, March 12, March 19 Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm *It is preferred that you RSVP to email@example.com OR on Meetup! Cost: $15/class OR $48 for the series (paid in cash upfront, no refunds) Please bring a journal and yoga mat if you have one. Mats are available at the studio but are limited.
What should I wear? Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat.
Who will be there? This meet-up consists of other like-minded Long Islanders interested in experiencing the benefits of Meditation. This is a beginners class so it's very laid back and comfortable. Please feel free to come by yourself or bring a friend.
What can I expect? Typically we will begin with a brief talk/sharing and Jen will lead a half hour meditation. We will occasionally have a guest speaker that offers a brief talk about one of the following subjects; Reiki, Yoga, Meditation, Empowerment, Spirituality, Wellness, New Thought & Healing. The group guided meditation begins promptly at 6:00.
Where do I park? You can park in the AT&T Parking lot. You can also park on Merrick Road or on the side street in between Pastrami King and Dunkin Donuts.
